Eric Brown has worked with Waddell & Reed since 1992. The bulk of his clients are either retirees, independent women, or from the LGBT Community. He can address a wide range of financial planning issues. He works with business owners on implementing and managing their retirement plans and exit strategies.
In Portland, he volunteered with organizations including Pride NW, The Potter’s House Church, and Portland Area Business Association while serving on community committees to address social issues. After moving to San Diego, he served on the Board of the Greater San Diego Business Association (from 2006 through 2013).
Eric continues to work with clients of all ages as they pursue their goals. His passion is developing strategies specific to the client. He works on the implementation, with the ultimate focus of improving the well-being of the clients he works with. He listens to clients in an effort to help them develop successful behaviors to pursue their goals, manage the everyday concerns and fears, while providing support as clients face the day to day uncertainty that can fill their lives. Regular visits can help keep them focused on their personal priorities and following financial planning strategies that help them to climb towards the goals they have set out to reach.
